Black Roses

Black roses

Just offer me a dozen roses of black
To remember all the sad times without you
The perfume of dying hope taking me back,
In times when I knew how to love too...

Trying to run away from sorrow and pain,
While my heart, the wounds slowly closes
Why I keep loving you, is not in vain?
So bring me today a dozen of black roses...

I embrace the soft roses, the dangerous thorns,
And silence falls with each red drop
I almost feel the solitude storms,
The black wind sweeping away from the top...

The rain washes the black petals away,
They dance in beautiful swirls
A final dance and I wish you to stay,
But your eyes fade...two beautiful pearls...
